Investment Advisor | Financial Planner
I am an investment advisor with Applied Capital, a financial planning firm providing individuals and small businesses around the country with sound financial guidance. I am helpful, and always willing to tackle any size planning problem. I enjoy complex situations, have numerous planning techniques at my disposal, but stay grounded in an investment philosophy that is derived from academically proven historical studies. I am constantly seeking to teach new clients principles that will transform their financial situation for the better. My best moments are when I see clients succeed through dedication to grounded financial advice.
I worked as a general contractor and structure mover prior to joining the Applied Capital team. I worked vigorously in Washington D.C. and in flood plains around the nation. In that work, I lifted and saved the homes of many who experienced catastrophic flooding events. With the International Association of Structural Movers, I produced several successful cost/benefit studies concerning the flooding in residential areas of the United States. In my passion for education, I continue to provide lectures to the students of WKU concerning how flood insurance functions.

Background
I am a Nashville native, root loudly for the Volunteers, enjoy hunting clay pigeons, and am an avid backpacker. My weekends are spent outdoors year-round no matter the temperature. I can be found outside of work enjoying my family’s farm or collecting another, “soon to be,” running pickup truck.
